Current roles in the community:
I have been supporting individuals and families who need safeguarding, referrals come from Leicestershire Police, 360 Degree and many other organisations.
I also support victims of Domestic Violence, in addition the residents of East Leicester have trusted and funded me to successfully run, a variety of community focused projects. In addition, because of Covid (global pandemic) I have supported many individuals suffering from Mental Health Issues. I have worked with many charities such as Gifting Humanity, Islamic Relief, A.N.O and Hands for Humanity.

Current roles in the community:
I have offered support and guidance to various communities in Leicester through my role as a Community Volunteer.
In my previous role as Chair of Governors, I helped set up a Patrol Team of Volunteers. This was to tackle illegal parking and traffic issues in the area which was a huge success.
Most recently during the COVID Pandemic I had created an opportunity to organise a Hot Food Parcel delivery to help those who were elderly, vulnerable and were unable to access food without leaving the house.
I helped to raise funds for Domestic Violence victims and worked with a few other charities helping the homeless and refugees.
I am currently volunteering with Neighbourhood Active, my role as a member is engaging and supporting the community by bringing awareness to various issues in the community such as Crime, Domestic violence, mental health, addiction, safeguarding, and equal opportunities.
